The Arlington County Civic Federation tonight tackles dueling resolutions related to the performance and behavior of the county government.
The main resolution, proposed last September by five former Civic Federation presidents, hits the local government hard on responsiveness issues. The Arlington NAACP has proposed its own alternate resolution for consideration at the meeting.
The monthly gathering, to be held starting at 7 p.m. at the Hazel Auditorium at Virginia Hospital Center (VHC Health), will include a 30-minute panel discussion on the topic, followed by consideration of the proposals. The public is invited.
