The advocacy group Embracing Arlington Arts will host a candidate forum featuring contenders for County Board on Monday, April 17 at 3700 South Four Mile Run Drive.

Announced candidates Maureen Coffey, Susan Cunningham, Jonathan Dromgoole, J.D. Spain Sr., Natalie Roy and Tony Weaver have been invited to participate.

“If you believe the arts are an important part of our county, then you should attend to learn about each candidate’s views and get your questions answered,” organizers said.

The contenders are vying for their party’s nomination in the June 20 Democratic primary. The top two finishers will move on to the general election in November to compete for the seats of incumbents Katie Cristol and Christian Dorsey, who are not seeking re-election.

Registration is required. For information and to register, e-mail janetk@embracing-arlington-arts.org.
