The Arlington Outdoor Education Association, which operates the Arlington Outdoor Lab in collaboration with Arlington Public Schools (APS), has named Jessica Leslie as its Volunteer of the Year.
“As an educator, parent, community member and nature enthusiast, Jessica brings the Lab to life,” the organization said. “She goes above and beyond her work as an APS educator at the Lab – her dedication and support . . . are steadfast.”
“Jessica is a treasure,” said Arlington Outdoor Education Association president Mike Maleski. “The Outdoor Lab is fortunate to have such a caring and dedicated volunteer.”
