It’ll be the same venue but different dates as the Arlington County Republican Committee holds its February meeting and the Arlington County Democratic Committee holds its March meeting next week.
Republicans will gather the evening of Feb. 27, Democrats the evening of March 1. Both meetings will be held at Lubber Run Community Center.
The gatherings may provide some additional clarity on the fields of candidates for the 13 races on the November ballot in Arlington.
Republicans, as yet, have no announced candidates for any of the seats, although the party has until June to firm up its slate. Democrats have candidates in all races, although some contenders have not made a pit stop to kick off their bids in front of the party rank-and-file; those announcements could come at the March 1 meeting.
Both meetings are open to the public. Democrats also plan to livestream their gathering.
