The Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) recently recognized its outstanding volunteers of the year.

Hal Creel was chosen as Volunteer of the Year, with Kaylee Rojas-Duran selected as the Teen Volunteer of the Year and 50+ Active, Fun, Fitness and Friends saluted as Volunteer Group of the Year.

“We are grateful for all of our volunteers, who cumulatively provide AFAC with an average of 45,000 volunteer hours each year,” the organization said.

Volunteers of the year and those who have reached certain milestone volunteer anniversaries will be honored during a program in June.
